Curse of chucky movie review

A fair few weeks ago now I did my review of the 1st child's play movie. But recently I saw curse of chucky and honestly it was nearly as good as the first one. When it comes to the chucky movies the 1st one is by far the best, the 2nd one is a pretty good sequel, the 3rd one was ok, bride of chucky was unneeded and seed of chucky was just all around terrible. But curse of chucky is an amazing and is like a remake/origin story and really ties the chucky story together. In a way it is connected to the previous movies and despite the the fact he doesn't have his scares from the last couple of movies at the start of the movie he quickly gets them back. The kills in this movie are damn well made I've seen some pretty creative kills and these definetly make my top 10. It has a pretty slow start but over time it picks up a bit, I loved the bit were the dad says it's a doll what's the worst that can happen? Hahaha I was laughing at that bit. Overall chucky was a really cool movie and is one of my favourite horror movies

The conjuring movie review

The conjuring is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, no joke. James wan (director of the saw franchise and insidious) wanted to make a new horror movie that people are going to remember for a LONG time, and I must say the conjuring does its job well. It's everything I expected and more, it starts off by introducing annabelle (won't go into too much detail for spoiler reasons) but after that you see a random family moves into a house and of coarse it's haunted. I had goosebumps for a good 70% of the movie which was good, my friends who have seen it said it was both amazing and terrifying, they weren't wrong. After seeing the conjuring I'm really excited to see other movies similar to that such as insidious and sinister, mind you I've heard  sinister is a lot scarier than the conjuring 😬

The hobbit the battle of the 5 armies movie review

The hobbit the battle of the 5 armies was everything I expected it to be, it was big exhilarating and just down right awesome. I found Bilbo to be more of a engaging character in this one and I loved what becoming king does to thorin. Gandalf as usual never fails to impress me and the other characters were great too, mind you I didn't get to see as much of smaug as I thought I would but that's ok. I really enjoyed the orks in this aswell especially Azog and Bolg, Azog as usual was a amazing ork leader and his son Bolg was just an amazing character overall. I found the end absolutely spectacular but I found it a little shocking to see how many of the dwarves of errabor were killed. But all in all the hobbit the battle of the 5 armies was an amazing movie and a fantastic end to a splendid trilogy.

Insurgent movie review

So a few days ago a few freinds and I went to see insurgent and even though I sadly haven't seen the 1st one yet(divergent), this one is a pretty good movie and I'm now DEFINETLLY going to see the 1st one. A couple of my freinds who have seen the 1st one said that it was better than the 2nd but as I haven't seen it I wouldn't know. But anyway insurgent was a pretty good movie, for some reason it reminded me of the hunger games mocking jay part 1 even though it's got nothing to do with it. The plot was fairly simple but I didn't care for the villian that much, but other than that the characters where pretty likeable. E ONE did a very good job with this and I can't wait to see what they come up with next

Lego batman 3 beyond Gotham review (PS3)

Ok, I literally spent all day yesterday trying to complete this and I gotta tell you it was time well spent. Lego batman 3 has become my favourite Lego game of all time (surprisingly), there are so many characters to collect, even though I've hardly got any but at least now I'll have something else to do. I'm extremely happy with all the different characters they've put in, from the mighty yellow lantern sinestro to the man of steel superman. I'm also amazed at all the locations, one minute you're in the batcave trying to knock batman out after being mind controlled by brainiac then the next you are flying around the galaxy to all the different lantern worlds. The graphics are absolutely stunning and I'm glad they have made the flying more like that of Lego marvel superheroes. It has quite q surprising twist at the end but I won't mention it for spoiler reasons. But Lego batman 3 beyond Gotham is a groundbreaking game and I can't wait to get stuck into it again and try and find some more characters.

I, Frankenstien movie review

I wasn't originally going to get this movie, but I saw it at Kmart for a pretty cheap price and actually I really enjoyed it. I know that people most people didn't like this movie, but I really don't understand why. The plot is fairly simple, Dr Frankenstien creates his monster but then for some weird reason he try's to kill him by knocking him out putting him in a body bag and throws him in a river. But what he didn't realise was that he was not dead, to get revenge the monster kills Dr Frankenstien's wife. When Dr Frankenstien realises this the monster is gone. Dr Frankenstien goes looking for the monster but dies from hypothermia, the monster finds his creator and decides to berry him but is attacked by demons. This attracts the attention of 2 gargoyles who kill the demons and bring the monster to their castle were he meats their queen and joins them, the queen calls him Adam. Then 200 years later there is a massive war between the demons and the gargoyles, and Adam is stuck in the middle. So like I said pretty simple plot, I thought I'd like the demons bs but instead ended up liking the gargoyles. Aaron eckhart plays Adam and I'm sure I've seen one of his movies at one point, but he was very good. One thing I didn't like about Adam was his look, I mean Frankenstien's monster is supposed to be created by human body parts but he looked like a normal man but with scratches all over his body. I maybe would've profered it better if he had a really skinny arm an another really muscular arm, but oh well. All in all I, Frankenstien was fairly good movie

Child's play movie review

Ok after seeing Child's play I officially have a fear of dolls it was that good. It was soooo much better than I thought it would be, I love the fact that Brad dourif plays chucky no one could play him better than he does. The scariest part in my opinion was the lead up to chucky, sure you see chucky a lot but he dosent really do much besides sitting there being a creepy little doll, it's literally giving me goosebumps just thinking about it. Honestly the acting wasn't too bad the little kid Andy was pretty good too considering that most kid actors aren't all that great but he still did an alright job. I haven't seen any of the other chucky movies and I don't have any plans to at this point in time besides curse of chucky which I've been wanting to see for ages now. Like I said before child's play has given me a fear of dolls and I seriously don't know how I'm going to see annabelle or the conjuring.
